The Mothers’ Center Beliefs
We believe in providing a welcoming, open, non-judgmental,
non-hierarchical environment, where every mother has an equal voice.
We believe that the group experience reduces isolation, increases synergy
and fosters personal empowerment.
We believe that both mother and child need to be nurtured at the Center.
We believe that every woman has and is a resource of talents and skills.
We seek to foster the talents of the individuals involved in the Center.
We believe that motherhood is a lifelong journey and that there is a body of knowledge
regarding the life cycle of the mother that needs to be learned and shared.
We believe in informing the community about the Mothers’ Center and providing outreach
to help our community.
We believe that the well-being of our Center depends upon mothers helping mothers,
while respecting our history and embracing the challenges of our future.
